SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our Sunday school has between 100 – 150 children
We have children’s choir in every church and they are
very committed. They meet every Saturdays from 5.00pm – 6.00pm for choir
practice and on Sundays to learn the word. We teach them through songs,
poems and skits.
We meet under trees since we have not yet got
structures but thank God the children come early so they finish before
it’s too hot.
Our mission is to bring up a God fearing child as the
bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go even when he is old
he will not part from it." And when they are in teen’s age we send them to
the teen’s group until they reach youth stage then join the main service.
We have children outreaches during Christmas holidays.

PASTOR FRED TUMWEBAZE’S PROFILE
Buwenge Christian Prayer Centre
I was born on 27th April, 1971 at a village
called Mawoito which is five(5)kms from Buwenge Town in Jinja District -
Uganda. I am from a polygamous poor family, I studied from the village but
since my parents were not able to continue paying for me, God provided a
good Samaritan who sponsored me until I finished my ‘O’ level studies. I
got saved in 1990 when I had just gone to visit one of my friend’s church,
the Lord spoke to me and I gave my life to Him. Since then I’ve never
regretted. I served as a Youth Pastor in 1993 – 1994 and was ordained as a
Church Pastor of Buikwe Christian Faith Centre on 1st January,
1996 and I planted Buwenge Christian Prayer Centre church in 1998 which
church I am pastoring now. I am now the
Director of True Word Ministries – Uganda
